The theory of functional training originates in physiotherapy, where functional training often is used in the work of improving the body’s natural movement patterns. Functional training is based on making your body function best possible, as well as giving you strength and energy in everyday life.
In functional training, you train both strength, endurance, balance and stability at once. This way you practice the interaction between all the muscles of the body. You may use kettlebells, balls, balance boards, elastic bands and gym rings as good helpers.
